Installed MuseScore 3.6.1. The sound is distorted during playback. In MuseScore 2.3.2, it plays normally. In 3.6.1. after converting to mp3, it plays normally. I attach two files in 3.6.1 and in mp3. Listen for yourself!

No distortion here. MuseScore 3.6.1 32bit (PortableApp) on Windows 10
Do you have any non-default soundfonts installed? Do you have good 64-bit drivers for your audio hardware? Have you tried other settings in Edit / Preferences / I/O?
It's alright. After restarting the computer (after installing 3.6.1), the player started working normally!
