How to divide a measure different from what the program suggests?
I'm trying to write a song with the time signature 12/16. I would like to divide a measure into 4 sequences of 3/16. I can not do this. When I try this, I instead get a beat where all 12 sixteenths are connected. What do I need to do to get the desired result?

If you want this measure to look different from other measures, you can adjust the beam properties of the individual notes. (See the Beam Properties palette.)
If you want all the measures to be divided into 4 groups of 3 sixteenths each, you can set that in the properties of the time signature: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/time-signatures#change-default-beam…
