Cannot save wav file
Good afternoon.
I recently reverted back to a previous version. Now, however, I cannot save wav files. I get the (attached) error message that says "Cannot write into C:........". How do I get around this?

Well, that was easy. I've been using wav files for long I didn't even think about the other audio files. Thank you!!!
Is there a particular reason you reverted to an earlier version? That should almost always be counterproductive, losing features and gaining bugs.

Good morning, Marc.
So I was already in the middle of writing a new piece. When I upgraded, the volume and dynamics went way out of whack. Over the years, I've gotten so used to using velocity/User settings. It looks like now that maybe the default is offset??? Anyway, it would have been too much of a hassle to go back and "fix" everything that I had written so far. So it was more convenient for me to just go back to the previous version.
Then again, maybe I probably should spend some time on educating myself on improved and new features.

It's not clear what you mean, nothing changed any time in any recent release having to do with this. The Inspector has always presented Offset as the default when making manual tweaks to velocity, at least going back three or four years. Maybe you mean the fact that two years ago at MuseScore 3.1, we implemented single note dynamics, the ability to crescendo through a single note? That still doesn't change that, but it does change how velocity is interpreted when you are using that feature, since velocity no longer the main thing what controlling dynamics.
If you attach the score you are having trouble with and explain in more detail what was confusing you, we should be to help you take advantage of all the incredible improvements made each version of MuseScore - we hate to see you give them up and re-introduce the hundreds of fixed bugs, all over a misunderstanding!
