Large scores has insanely laggy editing in Continuous View.

I am working on an arrangement of Beethoven's ninth symphony right now, and it definitely is a massive piece. The issue is, whenever I use Continuous View to edit the score, it becomes very choppy. I'm not sure why this is an issue, but it might relate to some improvements only made to Page View. Can anyone find a way to work around it, because Continuous View helps a lot with a large score like this?

Thanks!

As I understand it, continuous view is a real resource hog. Probably best to shut down anything you have running that you don't really need.

There were major improvements made to the performance of Page View back in 3.0, so MuseScore would only re-layout the portion of a score that actually changed after an edit. But Continuous View didn't get the benefits of that work until 3.1 or 3.2. For the most part it shouldn't be an issue anymore, but there are still cases where for whatever reason it still can be. I can verify using the OpenScore edition of the ninth that Continuous View is quite slow on that score. I'm not sure why.
