Musescore Won't Recognize Keyboard
Hi!
I have a ctk-720 keyboard I'm connecting via usb cord. I followed the steps to connect a keyboard to Musescore, but when I went into the I/O menu, the MIDI input dropdown is blank and doesn't have any options when I click the drop down arrow. I'm able to input notes as normal, just not from my keyboard.
Do I need a third-party midi software? I saw another post mentioning PortMidi, but when I downloaded it it refused to recognize that I had Java installed.
Thanks in advance!

Did you start MuseScore after the keyboard is switched on?

Yes I did
Also be sure the keyboard has a 64-bit driver - or else, download the 32-bit version of MuseScore.

Thank you, I'll try switching to the 32-bit version. I don't know how to check the driver , lost the manual for it (it's robably as simple as looking on the keyboard).

No, you'd probably need to go to the manufacturer's website to get an updated driver.
