Cannot read file (HELP)
Hi, my windows crashed and the next day I noticed my file was corrupt. I tried recovering a back up but last save is just too old, most of the stuff i wrote is gone.
What now? what can i do now? Theres got to be a way!
please help me!

Thank you for helping. I have! i am using a backup but the backup im using doesnt have most for the stuff I wrote.
There is no score contained within that file; there is nothing to recover from it.

What do you mean, so by crashing winows musescore deleted the score but the file remained?

By crashing windows MuseScore didn't get a chance to write the actual score data into the file, and only got up to the part where it got the file-size correct, but pretty much all of it is empty.

Thanks, so, that means There is no hope, all my work is lost even if I saved the score many times (ctrl+s). Great...

The backup file should have everything up to before the last Ctrl+S
The autosave file might have even more

the last autosave is also corrupted, i have located the latest "sc".

Confirmed, that file also contains lots of zeroes. Proves the problem started (up to) 2 minutes before the crash
