Try to split a measure before a note with timeline open and program crashes. Workaround is to close the timeline. See further description of problem discussed in forum:

I can't reproduce with a later 3.x development build, it might have been fixed along with #317511: Crash on Undo after adding measures with timeline open
I reverted the fix from #317511: Crash on Undo after adding measures with timeline open and could reproduce the issue. So this really is a duplicate
