Loud whitenoise in right ear when listening with headphones

When I start musescore, even with the newest updates, i either get sound from the computer rather than the headphones or i get a loud white noise in the right ear. The first mentioned is when i start without headphones plugged in, the other one is when i start musescore with headphones plugged in. Help please.
