create second page??
THis has got to be simple. I have a page of 32 bars, I need a second page. If I press add measure it just jams them at the end of the first page and scrunches everything up.

Fill them with notes and they will spread out as needed.
You can force a page break, see the Breaks and Spacers palette

i addeded notes and it just kept cramming them into the same page

As written before: MuseScore just spreads them out as needed. If you want them wider use system- or page breaks from the breaks & spacers palette
