I don't know the issue just started for no reason. I can't place notes for snare and bass drum. For a second I could place rests but that stopped as well.

In order for us to understand and assist, please attach your score and give precise steps to reproduce the problem, My guess is you simply are in the wrong note input mode (eg, repitch), or else you deleted your drumset definition somehow.
