Thanks for this. I thought I'd been following the instructions but after I created the first triplet of three crotchets I was left with three quavers - I couldn't work out how to add another triplet of three crotchets in that space. I'll have another look.
The important thing to note is that you need to start with a note or rest that is the equivalent length of the triplet you want to add. For a 3xcrotchet triplet, its length is two crotchet beats so you need to start with a two beat note or rest (i.e. a minim). Similarly if you want 3 x semiquaver triplets their length would be 1/2 a crotchet (i.e. a quaver).
