hi,

any way, workaround, hack
for decrescending 'non-expr.' instruments
using hairpins???

cheers

Hairpins work just fine as long as you don't need it to work on a single note. Otherwise, if the soundfont doesn't support it, you'd need to edit the soundfont I guess. Or switch to a different one.

i am making electronic music. correspondance with real life instrumentation is not always the case... yes polyphone will probably do the job. a sine wave (which i just copy pasted from the ms GM v0.2) and an electric bass which i am still looking for. thanks again

p.s. any chance to have eq, reverb and chorus
on each track of the mixer...??? not kidding : )

You're better off using a different soundfont, then, that does support SND on other sounds. Many do if you change the CC message using the settings in View / Synthesizer / Dynamics.

As for reverb & chorus, the built-in synth doesn't support that per channel, but external ones do, so those controls exist for that purpose. Future versions of MsueScore will sue different synth technologies, so yes, it's quite likely in coming years you'll be able to do that completely within MuseScore.
