TIme signature display
I need to display the time signature in the measure in which it changes (several times). I can change the time signature in the measure, but the actual fraction does not show up.

My guess is you aren't changing the time signature - adding one from the palette - but are instead simply changing the "actual duration" using Measure Properties. The latter is indeed exactly for that purpose - changing duration without changing time signature. If you want a time signature, add one directly instead.
