Why is the spacebar suddenly not working for typing text?
Why is the spacebar suddenly not working for typing text? I'm trying to type in a line of spoken dialogue and all the sudden, it's not working. I've reverted back to factory settings and restarted my computer. No dice. My cat did decide to tap dance on my keyboard right before it stopped working, so I feel like it should be a simple fix considering he probably just stepped on something he oughtn't have.

When you say it isn't working, what do you mean, exactly? And what kind of text? Space does something very different for ordinary text versus lyrics versus chord symbols, for instance. If you continue to have trouble, please attach your score and describe precisely;y how to reproduce the problem - what text you are editing when the problem occurs.
