Unable to change clef
Tried all suggested variations- highlight current clef, double click new clef. Highlight measure, double click new clef. Drag new clef over current clef. Drag new clef onto measure. Would not update the clef any way.

Then we'd need to look at that score, so attach it here

Just as an aside, I think that single click is now the recommended action to add an item from a palette.
