God Awful Popping Noise

During playback, sometimes when you hit the pause button there is a loud pop (rip headphone users). After this pop has happened when you go back to press play again the audio file is all glitched and Musescore literally can not play what is written.

The only way to temporarily fix this problem is to exit out of Musescore and then re-open your project. But after a while, it will eventually pop again.

I have attached a file for you to try and recreate the popping sound. Just hit the playback and then pause it, eventually it will pop.
