Metronome doesn't match time signature
I have a song in which I've set the time signature to 6/8 but the metronome plays a 4/4 beat. I thought it might be a corruption in this particular score so I created a new blank score.
In this one if I set time signature to 6/8 the metronome plays 2/4! If I change the time to 3/4 it plays 3/4 OK.
How can I get the metronome to play 6/8?

It's normal that at anything but very slow tempos, 6/8 is counted as two beats per measure. Onot just MuseScore I mean - in real life too. "1 and a 2 and a" is the usual way to count 6/8.
