Markdown—How to show bold text within italicized sections?
Possible? Best practice for showing bold text within italicized sections?
Seems like Markdown can't resolve nested situations like double asterisk enclosed within single asterisks.

Thanks guys!
I thought nested marks worked for bold in an italicized section (and for italics in a bolded section.)
And it sure works now!
Don't know where I went wrong in a recent post. But I'm back on track.

You can also use _ instead of *

So weird. I resorted to underscores but that wasn't working either.
Who knows, maybe I was looking at the Edit pane instead of the Preview pane!!

Same thing, just the other way round and also possible
