- go into palettes and find the articulations tab
- select bends and right click on it to select edit element
for me, this results in nothing and prohibits my creative expression.

Bend properties have been moved into the Inspector a while ago, with MuseScore 3.4 already. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/bends#edit-bend
