Which keyboard to you mean? The piano keyboard built into MsueScore that is there as an alternate way to enter notes? I'm not understanding what the red dot would signify - the key already highlights as you click it. And during playback it also highlights to show you the notes being played. Can you explain in more detail what you are trying to do?
