Audio won't play
I have been having an issue wherein I try to play audio I've written but the notes on the screen don't play, although the metronome still will. I have done everything listed on the support page for this, including uninstalling/reinstalling AND resetting to factory default, none of which fixed the issue. At this point I'm at a loss as every other forum post regarding issues similar to mine contain zero fixes besides a link redirecting to the original support page.

I am using my monitor's built in speakers.

Each audio system is different, so it's difficult to give one-size-fits-all solutions, but have you tried all the different possible settings in the dropdowns within that dialog?
It's possible your audio driver is only 32-bit by default, did you ensure you have 64-bit drivers?
Has MuseScore audio ever played successfully through the monitor's speakers?
If you hear the metronome through the monitor's speakers, but not the music, check the Mixer to see if the instrument is muted, or the volume slider is turned way down.
