1/2 note sounds like two 1/4 notes

To me, the first 1/2 note sounds like two 1/4 notes, so the first bar sounds like four quarter notes. I've deleted and reinserted the measure and the notes. Didn't help. Am I hearing things?

Occasionally the nbatural vibrato in some sounds can fool one into thinking there was a second attack of the note, maybe that's what you are hearing.
