MuseScore Pro for Mac. Crashes on Mac Mini M1 2020.
Hi
Cannot use MuseScore pro, because it crashes on my Mac Mini (M1 2020 chip) running on Big Sur v11.6.
Is this software only meant to run on Intel architecture? Please advise asap.

Such a thing as MuseScore Pro does not exist.
There's just one MuseScore, and it is free and open source and forever.
But yes, MuseScore is supposed to run also on a Mac with M1 chip, in Rosetta.

You have worried me now, because I paid for a yearly subscription for a pro version yesterday. If it is free, why is there a version called "Pro" with "extra features"? Have I stumbled across a malicious version?

Again: there is no pro version of the MuseScore editor for Windows, macOS, Linux nor for musescore.org.
There's a pro subscription for the musescore.com score sharing website.

Is it universal binary? Because I cannot see a way to run it in Rosetta, the checkbox is not appearing.

It is an Intel binary. The crash report shows traces of Rosetta

OK, so I understand that it is open source, now that you have explained that, and I've seen the github repo,
but it's unusable on my Mac.
So is there anything I can do, apart from running it on an Intel chip?

It does run on M1 too, in Rosetta.
Why it acts up on your machine is beyond me

I saw that someone has made a PR to merge code for WebAssembly compiled code to run in web browser. Is this available yet? That maybe my only option to be able to use your software. Pity I can't use it on my mac, because it's obviously very good from all reports.
