Is it possible to add words to the music (SATB for choirs)
I am new to Musescore and was wondering if I can enter notes as well as the lyrics for choir singing. Thanks.

Not sure what kind of words you want, but see the Handbook sections on text to learn about staff text, tempo markings, dynamics, frames that can contain entire blocks of text, etc.
