Transposition and changing clef

How do I take a PDF of a violin part and set it in Alto clef, while transposing down a fifth?

Do you really want to transpose it by a fifth? or do you just want to take a violin part and play it in the viola?

Create a new score for violin, enter the notes and then - when you're finished - change the instrument to Viola. Then transpose if you need to.
