"Play whole chord when editing" option not working
I'd like my score to play back all notes in a chord rather than just one when I click on e.g. a chord in a piano part, but for some reason the 'Play whole chord when editing' preference option doesn't seem to be working for me. (I have repeatedly tried toggling the option on and off, but always only get single-note playback. Restarted MuseScore a couple of times, switched audio I/O devices, but all to no avail.)
I'm using MuseScore 3.6.2, looks like this feature was introduced in v3.0.5 (https://musescore.org/en/comment/reply/node/286553/comment_forum/905986) - is there any chance it has become broken in the meantime? Or are there any other preference settings which could conflict with this option, maybe?

As far as I know, it's not meant to work when clicking notes - that would normally be too distracting. Instead it affects playback while navigating - e.g., with the cursor keys.

Ah right, yes I see that now - thank you Marc for clarifying!
(Clearly this just a hang up of mine from the 'olden days' of using Sibelius 4 at college. But I can definitely get used to using the keyboard a bit more instead, so no worries!)
