One syllable/quarter note then 2 syllables/16th notes?
How do you write it where in one line the lyric has a one syllable/quarter note and the same place around has 2 syllables/16th notes?

Ha, no, I read the page but can't get it to look like the example I show.

Things not immediately obvious from the handbook page:
You need to start voice 2 entry at the start of the measure, so start with a 1/4th rest.
After entry of that 1/16th rest and those 1/16th notes, mark the first rest and the remaining rest invisible.
Make the 1/16th rest small, move both of them downwards vertically a little bit.
Mark the last 1/16th small by ticking small in the chord section of the inspector.
Do not mark the other 1/16ths in voice 2 as small or they won't share their noteheads anymore.
Your voice 1 lyrics were not attached to the correct notes.
Only add the "an" lyric as voice 2 lyrics. You need to press "enter/return" to make it verse 2 when entering it.
