How to use right-click menu
Hello!
I just downloaded Musescore and am having a frustrating issue I cant seem to figure out! I am on a PC and I even plugged in a mouse with right/left/ and scroll options (i was using my touchpad before).
I am trying to bring up the measure properties menu. All the advice I've found says right-click the measure. This doesnt work. It deletes the notes within the measure actually. I read that it could be that I'm in British English, so I already changed that to US English. Still nothing.
Other than that, I look forward to creating some awesome music here! Please Help!! Thanks

The language settings have little to with that, other than the name of the menu, measure properties (US) vs. bar properties (GB)

If you right click on a note while in note entry mode you are entering a rest which overwrites the note. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/note-input#mouse
So, first get out of note entry mode by pressing the ESC key (top left of most PC keyboards). Then right click should bring up the menu.
