Sort the Palettes in alphabetic order
Is there a reason why the Palettes are displayed unsorted? Is there a way to sort the Palettes in alphabetic order? It seems maddening to me that the Beam Properties is at the bottom while Clefs is at the top but not Accidentals. If I know the name of what I want, would it make sense that I can find them alphabetically without having to search down the list?

Because an alphabetical order doesn't make any logical sense. Not in any language. Not between languages.
Alphabetical in what language? Neither feasible nor logical. The palettes are in a useful, sensible order that makes perfect sense once you take a few minutes to start creating scores. If this still bothers you, then feel free to sort the palettes yourself by clicking and dragging.
You can drag your palettes up/down to arrange them however you like.
Indeed, the order is meant to be logical, with things you use together actually grouped together. Clefs are used in conjunction with key and time signatures, so they are grouped together. Markings you add to notes, like accidentals and articulation and ornaments, are grouped together. The different types of text are grouped together. And so on. It's not perfect, but it's definitely way more ergonomic than the alphabet would be.
That said, as mentioned, you can rearrange them however you like.

Hi, is there a way to get Musescore to save the alphabetical order arrangement in the pallettes as default? When I close Musescore, it always reconfigures to the factory default. In 3.0 it didn't do that. I really find it easier to work with it in alphabetical order.
