Backwards Part Transposition
I created the attached lead sheet. I intend to print both Concert and transposed parts -- the transposed part being for tenor sax. (I really wish we could all adopt the more intuitive terms "sounding" and "written," but oh well...)
Note that the score in concert pitch is in Dm, and when transposed is in Em. Perfect.
However, the part is in Dm when transposed and in Cm (!) when in concert pitch.
What the???? Can anybody explain what I've done wrong?

My guess is that there was some combination of checking (or not) the Concert Pitch Box.
Let's say you have a score in G major all parts open and with the Concert pitch box checked. Then you uncheck the box. The parts in the score are transposed, as you would expect. But if you then go to the trumpet part it will still show as Concert pitch, until you uncheck the box. Depends on which one you saved.

Thanks for the reply. I've determined that there is a bug somewhere in the program that got activated by a series of events that I can't recreate. It turns out that after I quit the program and reopened it, that file is behaving exactly as it should — including the copy I uploaded here. I feel like the program is gaslighting me, but I'm 100% certain I didn't imagine it!

🤣 I suppose I gotta accept there's a 1% chance that's true here, but man I saw them 3 flats clear as day, toggling back and forth in wonder!
