Stretch/distance of 'non-notes' like similes eg.

Basically I'd like to have the four measures as selected just in one line, so it loosely fits the above phrases. 'Decrease Layout Stretch' is maxed out, so I wonder if there's a way to push the adjacent barlines closer to the similes.
