copyrights on songbooks
I have transcribed many songs from songbooks for private use.
Many are folksongs without any composer listed.
The songbook itself however has a copyright stating generally that copying any material from this book without permission is prohibited.
I have seen many of the songs already on MuseScore.
Is it permissible to upload songs from a copyrighted song book?

Not a topic to discuss here on musescore.org, as those uploads would be to musescore.com, but yes, you can, but the scores might be taken down, changed to private, it the copyright holder demands so.
