Stripping tempo from midi imports
On a midi file I put a new tempo (quarter note = 90) but the file plays with its original midi setting (120). How can I strip the tempo from the midi file?

It's not clear what you mean here - you are exporting a score from MuseScore as a MIDI file, but you wish it to create a MIDI file with no tempo marking? How would playback software know how fast to play it by default?
Or maybe you mean, you are importing a MIDI file, and you wish to override the tempo that was encoded into the MIDI file? You'll need to delete the original tempo marking(s).
If you need further assistance, please attach your MIDI file and/or score and give precise steps to reproduce the problem.

I imported the midi file and deleted the tempo indication on the imported file and reentered the new tempo. And it worked. Thanks
