Volta's and Repeats
Hi there,
I'm fairly new to this software and have been doing my best to dig around it, although I'm finding the UI to be quite complex.
I have a piece that I would like to format as follows:
1. Bar 1, 2, 3, 4
2. Bar 1, 2, 3, 5
3. Bar 1, 2, 3, 4
4. Bar 1, 2, 3, 5 and then continue on
I have stuck a "1" Volta over the 4th bar and a "2" Volta over the 5th bar. In regards to the playback, to reaches #3 above but stops at bar 3.
I've tried reading this: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/2/voltas but none of the Volta property options are visible / available when I right click on the Volta.
I've attached a basic visual example of the above. 1 should be 1,3 and 2 should be 2,4 if I've understood the notation correctly. However, any tutorials I read don't seem to have the options that they say they should.
Any help here would be massively appreciated as I've reached a road block! :)

Are you really using MuseScore 2? If not, but MuseScore 3, why then reading the MuseScore 2 handbook rather than the MuseScore 3 one, https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/voltas?

My bad, good spot. I'm finding almost everything about the product tricky to navigate (coming from a UI developer). Appreciate the response and thanks for the link. I have also read this.
"Select the volta, and in "Repeat list" (Volta section of the Inspector) type in a number, or sequence of numbers separated by commas, to indicate the repeat(s) in which the volta is to be played."
Where is the

Thanks I found it - It stated in the inspector was always visible, which is wasn't, so I found that. I figured settings for a Volta would appear when clicking the Volta. Thanks, I'll get there eventually figuring out where everything is! :)
So after a quick play I have the following:
What would be the most appropriate steps to make the piece return to the beginning after the 3rd Volta and continue to the 4th and onwards?

The Inspectore is always visible by default (i.e. at part of the factory settings). So you must have closed it.

What's the play cound of the measures with the end repeat barlines?
Sharing/attaching the score rather than images of it would be more helpful

So it was the play count. It just didn't take affect on applying it. I saved the file, re-opened the project and it works. Thanks for your time this morning Jo Jo.
