How to do audio export of an excerpt from a score, rather than the entire score?
Is there a way to specify starting and stopping points for audio export of a portion of a score as an excerpt? For example, by setting temporary start and stop markers in the score. Otherwise the only way would be to do the whole score and then do the excerpting in an audio-format editor.

You could select the part of the score you want to export, then choose File -> Save selection, which will create a separate file containing only the selected part of the score. Then you could export that score to an audio file.
A different alternative is to select the range you don't want and use "remove selected range", then export and undo.
