Errors in Bar
I've just installed Musescore for the first. I've just imported a pdf and there seems to be extra rests in one of the bars - is this normal?

This happens at times (read: quite often) when importing PDFs
Select the excess rest and press Ctrl+Del
To be clear: MuseScore does not have its own PDF imported facility; instead it relies on a third party program that it runs via a website. These sorts of AI programs that attempt to turn pictures of sheet music into actual scores are definitely hit or miss. It's usually more efficient to just enter the music yourself.
