How to combine seperate sustain, staccato, accent, etc, soundfonts for the same instrument into one file.
I have some orchestral soundfonts that feature different articulations for an instrument as seperate files. Like there is a seperate file for flute staccato and flute sustain. My question is if there is any way to combine these into one soundfont file to that musescore can automatically assign the correct articulation for what is written in the notation. Thank you!

it could be done in a soundfont using Velocity as a trigger, but not in Musescore, since Musescore uses Velocity for Volume.
apart from that it is not recommended to make such a mess of a soundfont..

You mean much like the default violin font has arco, pizz, and trem files. Somewhere there is a section of the manual that deals with this.
You can certainly use any soundfont editor - there are several out there, including free ones, just do a web search - to combine individual sounds into a soundfont. And you can use that soundfont with MuseScore. However, it does not have a way to switch sounds automatically via articulations currently (supposedly something along those lines might be coming with MuseScore 4). Instead, for now, you'd need to add instrument changes fro the text menu and use those to set the sound.
