MIDI playback is a halfsetp down when played through headphones.
When I use my speakers to listen to my score it plays the correct concert pitches. But when I play the score through headphones it is transposed down a halfstep and the notes are not transposed or tuned in the score.

Are these by any chance Bluetooth, or some other special connection that requires a device driver? What OS? My guess is, the driver is getting the wrong sample rate (44.1 vs 48 kHz). And probably there is an option within it to fix that.

My Bluetooth audio for other applications seems to be fine. I am using windows and my drivers are up to date. Do you know what options I could perhaps tinker with?

Every system is different, so unfortunately I can't really say which device driver you are using or what options it provides. You could see if selecting a different on within MuseScore (Edit / Preferences / I/O) fixes it. Also try pressing "Restart Audio and MIDI Devices". But otherwise, you'd need to consult the documentation for your headphones or OS or whatever third party driver you may have installed.
