add general text to the score, preferably in the vicinity of the title block.

I wish to add staight text to a score I have created with settings, (I use myself for the printed copy I create and maintain), and wish to display for the end user of a particular song I have created. It is useful to have myself in the event that I am going to perform that song. eg. I utilise a Tyros 5 and in the region of the score mentioned above, I have the settings such as the instrument registration, the style for the chosen music and other details such as the "intro setting" , the "ending setting" etc. within the body of the score. I have determined that I can utilise the "expression text" ("cntrl T" ) already provided from the options mentioned in version 3 of Musescore 3, but I cannot fathom a useful option, so far, for general text as outlined for myself.

Ctrl+T is adding staff text, not expression text
Shift+Ctrl+T would add system text, maybe that's better for your purpose?
Or a text frame.

Probably you want a frame, or even just additional text within the exist title frame. In order to advise better, we'd need to know more about what this text is for, and what should happen to it if the score layout changes.
