MuseScore 4 Deleteing Parts
There does not seem to be a delete button yet. I am using the second alpha release of MuseScore 4.

For the part specifically, as opposed to actually removing the instrument? Just click the "x" on its tab. Parts are normally always present in MuseScore 4, but they may be opened or closed on command. At least, that's how I see it, internally there may be more to it.

I was looking in the wrong area. Should have been in the instruments section, my bad :)
