rest in Baroque lute tablature
I'm trying to use Baroque tab and it doesn't behave like the Renaissance tab I've been using. I started with another piece I had managed to do before.
I can't place a rest, that is a rhythm sign with no letter. When I try hitting zero it puts an a on the first course. Also, how do you get a number for the diapasions, 4 for instance?

I see the change note to rest, which is zero, but that is what is not working. I'm looking for how to make just the letter invisible and leave the rhythm sign visible in the handbook, but have not yet found it.

Figured it out. Inspector. I couldn't remember the shortcut.

One problem though, because it does not put new rhythm signs unless the rhythm changes, it won't put in a sign, even if I paste another measure with the half note sign.
Also, I cannot figure out what the gray cross is.

Maybe you need to enable showing rests in Staff Proerties > Advanced > Note values?

"0" is in normal mode only, not in note entry mode, there is ";"
