Define shortcut to toggle playback of chords
Hi, - I wish to define a shortcut that will save me going into format - styles - chord symbols every time I wish to switch chord playback off or on. I went into shortcuts and hit Define but that's as far as I got... - can anyone help?

I don't think there's a shortcut for this command for this possible
You don't need to open any dialogs, just select any chord, then click Play followed by "set as style" (the "S" icon) in the Inspector. Very fast already. But in theory, one could probably construct a plugin to automate that and assign a shortcut to save a second or two.
