Version 3.6.2 update doesn't install over the v3.3.4

I downloaded the .msi with the most recent (3.6.2) but when I start Musescore it still reads 3.3.4 in the "about Musescore". I already deleted the program from my system and re-installed complete. No luck. Still same same.
Help appreciated.
