When headphones are plugged into my 2022 Mac 24”, Musescore continues to play through the internal Mac speakers while all other sources go through the headphones. I have to quit and relaunch Musescore to change the Audio Output. It’s weird and it only happens with Musescore.

It's not blue tooth. It's all hardwired. It's the internal speaker and headphones plugged into the jack
That is normal, you need to plug them in before starting MuseScore. Or toggle the MIDI button (off and back on), that 5-pin DIN connector icon
