I'm running MuseScore 3.6 on a MacBook Pro mid 2018 with OS 12.6 (Monterey).

Opening a File (either MSCZ or midi) I can't switch from internal speakers to another output device.
Plugging in an ext. headphone and selecting "ext. Headphone" in the settings (when I find it there !), clicking "apply" and "ok" (and switching the MBP audio setting to ext. headphone) the sound comes fron the MBP speakers or there is no more sound at all !
After two or more switches from internal to external and back (with or w/o "restart of the sound system") I get the sound finally back on the MBP speakers.
Where is my mistake or the bug ???

macOS does not always inform MuseScore of device changes, so you may need to either restart MuseScore, or just toggle the MIDI icon on the toolbar off and back on to force Musecore to rescan for devices.
