1.Have a pdf of a score (freshly downloaded from web site or scanned into a pdf)
- Import score
3 download score
4 open score in Musescore.
result rests are added for no apparent reason and can't be deleted, other notes lengths are changed. suddenly 3/4 measures are now 4/4 for some, 2/4 for other. this is horrid, just horrid. an fresh, brand new pdf score should not have any issues. Here is an example of one I did. a super simple score that I wanted to to ingest then break out the parts

Almost certainly, the errors in question are due to the "Audiveris" program used in the experimental online import service. That's to be expected, really - this sort of AI technology still has a long way to go before it can be as accurate or efficient as a human entering the music normally.
