Change duration of many notes without overwriting

I have a student of mine who has written a complicated ostinato in 32nd notes and now wants to reuse that pattern later in quarter notes. Is there a way of shifting ALL of the notes from 32nd to quarter without having to rewrite it?

If we select all the notes and change the duration it only changes the duration of the first note and overwrites the rest of the beat.
