Can you say which aspect specifically you are asking about> Kike, which specific symbol, which specific note, etc?

Hi, I ask about how to assign the snare sound for the left hand (below the line). When I try to "construct it" I only get the sound playing for the right hand. I tried "Edit Drumset" but I don't find a way to do it.

Hmm, are you saying these different notes represent the same sound? In order to get that working perfectly, you'd need to use a soundfont that actually provides two different snare drum pitches, so you could assign one to the above position and one to the below. With the standard soundfont, you could choose a pitch that sounds close enough.

The other ugly workaround is to "fix to line" manually the relevant notes.
FWIW; my son recently started drum lessons and I have come across this notation in some of his materials as well. So far only on copies of handwritten stuff though.

It's called Berger Uniline Notation if you're interested. Scottish and Swiss drummers use it to indicate which hand does what.

How do I choose and apply a soundfont?
On an unrelated point, I see as of this date there are no scores on your profile. Do you plan to upload (Scottish drum) pieces? If so, I'd follow your profile, so I can understand more of how drum notation renders to the sounds. My percussion handling in notation is so primitive. Thx.
