Alternative Tunings in Staff/Part Properties not working as expected

Hi there, love this software. But, I'm currently experiencing an issue with the alternative tuning for guitar tab with linked treble clef staff. I've attached a few screen shots to show what I'm experiencing. So what Ive done is created a score with a guitar tab with the linked treble clef and I followed the instructions here to have my guitar tab in drop d tuning: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/tablature#change-tuning. However, this does not actually put the score in drop d. So for example as you can see in my screenshot of a few of the measures, I have what i wish to be my low d playing on the 5th fret which in a drop d tuning would be a g note. However if you look at the treble staff above it actually adds an a note. So it seems my tuning isn't being respected. Playback also plays the A as opposed to a G. Thanks

Well, a drop-D tuning is applied to the 6th string (D2 instead E2) not to the first one, as you have done (1st image)
