When you open a score and go to the 'Publish' tab in MuseScore 4.0, you can still edit notes and move text with the mouse. The changes made in this tab can't be reverted by pressing ctrl + z or via the 'Edit'-menu, you need to move back to the 'Score' tab to revert them.
I am not sure whether the score should be editable in the 'Publish' tab at all, but I believe not being able to revert the changes is a minor bug.

I can confirm that while keyboard and menu commands don't work, dragging does. This is a known issue being worked on.
